SYRACUSE LIVING WAGE TO PASS ON MONDAY

The Syracuse Common Council will vote on a Living Wage Ordinance at City Hall - on Montgomery and East Washington Streets in Syracuse on Monday May 23rd at 1 PM!

The vote at the City of Syracuse to pass the Living Wage ordinance will take place on MONDAY MAY 23 at 1 PM at the Syracuse Common Council Chambers in City Hall.

The delay that took place back in April was to ensure that those that do have a collective bargaining agreement are not put at a disadvantage to the those that do not have a collective bargaining agreement. The Common Councilors have all been working hard to make sure that all workers are treated fairly under the law, and that this legislation will start to raise the rates for service workers in our community.

Please come out for this vote! We were impressed by the amount of people who were there in April. Be there when this legislation FINALLY gets passed!
