The Ball is in our Court

Brian Goodell NY-24
Campaign Information:
FEC ID: H4NY24032
Brian Goodell is challenging GOP incumbent Sherwood Boehlert.
Some facts about Sherwood Boehlert and how tied up he is with Tom DeLay...
• Sherwood Boehlert has taken $10,020 from Tom DeLay's ARMPAC. No surprise that Boehlert voted with Tom DeLay 88% of the time between Jan. 1 2004 and March 31 2005.
• Sherwood Boehlert voted to weaken the ethics rules in a move that many say served only to protect Tom DeLay.
• When Republicans realized it was "impossible to win the communications battle" over the gutted ethics rules, Boehlert flip-flopped and voted to put the old rules back into place.
• When Democrats offered a solution to clean up the House by strengthening ethics rules, Sherwood Boehlert voted twice to make sure it never even came to an up or down vote.

You left the messege Bring Home the Troops over on Watergatesummer...I could not agree more. We need to bring them home as soon as possible- staged deploys. More dems need to back Murtha.....( nice blog- the picture of Piro is a bit scary...I don't think anyone needs to see her in person...)
It all starts in 2006!!!
Fred, that is wonderful! I also heard that Michael Arcuri, District Attorney of Oneida County is considering a run. Yes, it's time Sherry was trounced. Thanks so much for the heads up. And, let's keep in touch so that we can all work together to get this done.
Yeah, its funny that the Democrats themselves named "ethics" as a critical issue in this election, and then get Mike "ethically challenged" Arcuri to run for Congress! That's rich!
